Update from the Young Vinnies

Last month our young Vincentian did a marvellous and a great job.  It was a training for the youth of our village (Lapaha).  Talitha Project recognized the sprit of our works, so they choose us as the candidates for this workshop.  We enjoyed the program and we learned so many things such as the skills and the knowledge.  We will apply these skills on out works along the elderly and for those who need helps in our community.We are looking forward for our Youth hub and us the ...

Shop Site Update

St Vincent Shop a Blessing

It can only happen in the Islands, so they say. It took us a whole year for a land agreement with the church, organized the architectural map of the shop and a new estimate to finally get a building permit. Young Vinnies

A few years ago, before I joined the SSVP a Young Vinnies (YV) group was established at Takuilau College at Lapaha. This was started by the late Polikalepo Kefu from Lapaha and our first National Youth Coordinator. Storage for the Poor

After the severe Tropical Cyclone Gita in 2018 and the Volcanic eruptions in 2022 and COVID19 pandemic, a much-needed donation of two forty-foot containers were received to store dry food, canned food, clothing, equipment, books, medical equipment, blankets, water, masks, before we distribute to the most affected areas and families.
