Welcome to SSVP Tonga

The Society of St Vincent de Paul National Council of Tonga was established in 1973, Instituted 25 May 1992 and Conferences were aggregated from 1989-1992.

Tonga is a member of the Council General International and Oceania SSVP Territory. Our main activities are home visitation to the elderly, hospitals and distribution of food parcels.

Because Tonga is prone to natural disasters the SSVP work closely with its Twinning Partner New Zealand to help relieve hardship to families affected by disasters to assist the rehabilitation of individuals and communities.
